Adaptive Mould Technical Data Comparison

The Adaptive Moulds comes in various sizes and can be customized based on the customer’s requirements

Which Adaptive Mould Type?

Our adaptive moulds are either Double Curved or Single Curved

Most customers prefer our double curved adaptive moulds, while some only demand for an adaptive mould capable of single curved shapes.

“The cost of a single curved adaptive mould is low compared to the double curved mould, while usability in relation to geometric complexibility is high on the double curved moulds.”

Double Curved – for both single and double curved surfaces

Single Curved – for only single curved surfaces

Which Adaptive Mould Size?

The most important question

Large sized adaptive moulds increase flexibility while utilization of m² shaping area usually is higher with a smaller sized adaptive mould. Buying 4 small adaptive moulds may be better that buying 2 large.

“It may be better to increase utilization of smaller adaptive moulds and benefit from backup capacity, rather than increasing the size flexibility using a large adaptive mould.”

Which Adaptive Mould fits my application?

The adaptive mould types are designed to fit into different application segments. There are some flexibility in usage between applications and we are ready to guide you in selecting the best solution.
